Armchair Traveler Each vacation is customized to suit your specific culinary, cultural and activity preferences. However, some ideas for a typical week of Bliss are:
Day 1: Afternoon arrival, relax with an aperitif or visit a winery for a private tasting. Stroll around the village and explore the sites before we have a welcome dinner overlooking a vineyard.
Day 2: After breakfast, tour one of the lively Provencal markets where you can taste the local treats, sample wines and listen to music.
Day 3 : After breakfast drive into the painted village of Roussillon. Walk through the Ocher formations, visit the village and its boutiques. Lunch in a typical Provencal restaurant. Return to the hotel late afternoon to relax or participate as our Chef prepares dinner.
Day 4: After Breakfast, tour a perched village and visit the ruins of a 12 century church of the Knight’s Templar, visit a local gallery or museum, tour a renovated Chateau or shop in the boutiques and sit in a local cafe.
Day 5: After breakfast explore a local town “en fete”. Watch the running of the bulls. See the festival parades and perhaps a bull fight. Join the locals for a festive lunch. Return in the afternoon and relax at the pool or in the gardens.
Day 6: After Breakfast, walk out of your door to find the weekly Provencal market and return for a light lunch at the hotel. Spend the afternoon hiking up to the ruins of an ancient fort or wine tasting. Join us for a farewell feast our last evening...
Day 7: Breakfast followed by a late morning checkout.
All of our menus are preplanned according to your preferences but must also remain flexible to seasonal and regional availability.
